Insane...

I recently watched Riding Giants, and let me tell you it is one hell of a film! If you have any interest in surfing or extreme sports you will definitely like this movie. It is a documentary about BIG wave surfing, and I do not use the word BIG lightly. Riding Giants dives deep into the world of BIG wave surfing. Exploring the best locations in the world to surf BIG waves, and introduces the audience to the crazy people that actually surf the waves. Some of the scenes are absolutely mind blowing... I definitely recommend checking it out!

I may have seen that...is that the imax gig when the closed the beaches down in Hawaii because the swells were 40'-70'? hmmm might have been a different special. Thanks for the tip, good flick to watch during a cold winter night!

I'm not sure if it's the same movie LJN.. I don't remember a scene when the beach is shut down. There is a scene in it when Laird rides one of the heaviest waves EVER! It's crazy.
