What a peculiar, but GOOD film...

I just finished watching The Life Aquatic, and it was a trip. It is directed by the same person that did The Royal Tenenbaums which I have not seen, but want to. It is the kind of comedy that takes you a second to get in tune with. I did not laugh for the first 20 minutes of the flim, and then all of a sudden it clicked! It would take me a couple more posts to explain the story line in full.. So check out the web site for more information. Or you could just rent the flick, and watch it! It's worth the two hours.

Wow... dailydancer.com

This guy is a riot! He calls himself the Daily Dancer, and everyday he adds a new video of himself dancing to different songs.. I laughed my ass when I stumbled upon it. It is worth checking out at least once just to get an idea what this guy is doing. His girlfriend and him go down to the library, and check out instructional videos. Then he showcases his skills for the world to see... Very funny.. trust me. I think my favorite video so far is "Another One Bites the Dust"..

The Wailers Live! 07/22 HBC

I can't wait for the Wailers show this Friday at The Hampton Beach Casino! I saw them once before about three years ago with Scotty-B, and it was fantastic. I can't think of a better way to spend a summer night then listening to Reggae on the beach mon'! We have a big group of people coming, and if anyone else is interested you can get tickets at the HBC for only $20! Can't miss Family Man on the bass! He is awesome... The original Bass player, and can he play! I just hope the the floor at the joint does not break through.. Last time I went you can feel it wobble up and down when everyone is dancing.. It gives it character right? Yeah... If the floor does break through I guess we could all just play a couple pin ball games. Or ski ball what every floats your brick. I wouldn't mind playing some pin ball before the show... I wonder if they have a L.O.T.R. pin ball machine? They must..

See ya there!

Tim and Johnny strike again...

When I was a kid I watched the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory over and over. I could not get enough of that magical world of candy. It was strange, but interesting. I always wanted to go and hang out in the room made of candy... Do a cannon ball into the river of chocolate, and play a round of poker with an Umpa Lumpa. "The snoze berrys taste like snoze berrys!"

I saw the remake last night, and let me tell you was is strange! Of course I expected it to be considering who the director was, but I did not except it to be as strange as it was.. Jilliane and I just kept looking over at each other and saying.."What the hell?" If you were a fan of the first one I would recommend seeing the remake at least once. It is worth it.. Overall I gave it a B.
