Jilliane and I rescued Roxy from Animal Shelter, Inc., located in Sterling MA on Saturday. It was about a 1hr 45min drive, and it went by fast on the way there, but we hit traffic on the way back! Lucky for us Roxy has a very calm temperament, and slept the whole ride home.
As far as her breed goes we know she is part Hound Dog, but we are not sure which kind. Our friend April did a little research and discovered she looks a lot like an American Foxhound! So far she is a very nice puppy, and we are glad we were able to rescue her and provide a nice home.
Let the house training begin!

Awesome K-Dawg!! K-Dawg, J-Dawg and now R-Dawggie!! She's a beaut! I think she might be a "Rockingham Hound dog" an ancient breed of dog who protected thier owners from the dudes of "ya" who arrive annually for the Rochester fair!!!@#@! ROXY ON Dude!

Wow K-Dawg is lucky that he gets to work all day b/c R-Dawggie likes to follow and bite J-dawgs ankles all day. Thank god for crates and puppy time out!!
WOW - talk about an adorable lil creature. That pic of her in the grass makes me think she is related to Gizmo!!
You are def going to have a hard time being angry at her when she has explosive diarrhea on your living room floor.
And checkout the purple colar and pink leash!! Roxy the princess is born, and I can't wait to have the plums nip her bum.
